Ember Light is the essence of the crisp wind beside a roaring fire on the beach, makes me think of hanging out with my love and a few friends-listening to the waves in the background, maybe a friend lightly strums a guitar as we all watch the flames dance in the wind.

Wildlife Collection, “Patience” Fawn

I’m so excited to present the second completed painting from my “Wildlife” collection “Patience”

I named her “Patience” after watching the fawns very closely on our land, they are cautiously led by their momma to places of safety, the mothers place them in that spot and often leave for short periods and as the fawn is left in that little place of safety it waits patiently as her mother finally makes it back to her.

It’s been such a blessing to live out here among these sweet gentle creatures 🥰

This is an original Painting on gallery wrapped canvas signed and ready to hang that was painting with so much energy and movement. I’ve named this appropriately “Shook” as it’s how I feel inside when I see the way we as individuals treat each other in the world today-without trying to have an understanding of how each of us could possibly have other views and ideas of politics and religion. It’s okay for us to have differences to listen to other beliefs and ideas-that doesn’t mean we have to agree with them but if we take time to just use our words with curiosity and interest I know we will find we have more in common than not. Can I get an amen?!? 🤷‍♀️

this piece was a lesson I also taught inside my art group The Creators Club where we meet online every Tuesday night to paint together-so that alone makes this one very special as well!
