This piece evolved in such an organic way, I’m not surprised that an elephant shape appeared with a figure, the under layer had marks and writings about how we are stronger than we could ever think we are as humans. I think this is the perfect metaphor for what I as the artist was feeling, it’s a reminder that we can communicate with a higher energy (that I refer to as God) and absorb strength to get through the worst of days leaving us feeling a bit lighter and uplifted.
